We also have Emergency Food Boxes available throughout the week. We also offer pet food through our Pet Pantry!

Medical Clinics

Our partners at Wayne State University - School of Medicine provide free blood pressure check ups and basic first aid. We also provide hygiene kits and public health supplies from our Medical House.

During the spring, summer, and early Fall we have lots of work to do growing our fresh vegetables in our garden and fruit in our orchard! We also have goats, chickens and lots of other animals running around!

Clothing Program

Monday-Friday 11-3pm

Saturday 12-3pm

We have free clothing available in our Community Closet. If you would like to donate clothing, PLEASE call first and only donate clothes that are clean and good quality!

After-School Activities

Over the years, dozens of children have called the Village home. At this time we don’t have a formal after school program, but young people are always welcome in the Village. When available, we have college student volunteer tutors!

Emergency Housing + Warming Center

The Village offers temporary emergency shelter to individuals and families, year round. Availability of is limited, so PLEASE call first if in need!

In the winter months we offer a Warming Center during the day - free food, relaxation by the TV, bathroom availability. In hot weather, we have a Cooling Center for seniors and those with medical conditions to get air conditioning.

Every few months we have some kind of community event! Iin the colder months we have our Giving Thanks dinner and Secret Santa program. In the warmer months we host Bazaars, where we give away free bikes, clothes, and home goods and have a cookout and activities for the kids!
